Senckenberg Nature Research
The Senckenberg Society for Nature Research is the largest institution of the Leibniz Association. It was founded in 1817 by citizens of Frankfurt and still considers itself a “citizens’ society” today, supported by over members. For over 200 years, Senckenberg scientists have been researching the Earth-system – conducting “integrative geobiodiversity research.” This is based on the ambitious goal of understanding nature with its almost infinite diversity in order to preserve it as a basis of life for future generations and to use it sustainably. In the fight against the global challenges, be it climate change, species extinction, or environmental pollution, we offer approaches to solutions in dialogue with society. We are a group of self-motivated students from RWTH Aachen University deeply interested in Hyperloop. Said to be the 5th mode of transportation, this revolutionary concept is now close to being a reality. With various engineering disciplines converging into a single technological marvel, we as students aim to design and build functional prototypes of a Hyperloop, explore various feasible options and contribute to its development. This, in turn, helps everyone involved widen the horizons of their technical and management skills while putting theory learnt into practice. Das Technologiezentrum Energie (TZE) in Ruhstorf a. d. Rott ist eine Außenstelle der Hochschule Landshut. Der Aufbau des Forschungs- und Entwicklungsstandortes wird mit Mitteln des Programms „Aufbruch Bayern“ der Bayerischen Staatsregierung finanziert. Die Marktgemeinde Ruhstorf a. d. Rott und der Landkreis Passau unterstützen das Zentrum tatkräftig durch Bereitstellung der benötigten Technologietransferflächen. Langfristig soll mit dem Technologiezentrum Energie in Niederbayern eine wirtschaftlich weitgehend tragfähige Institution etabliert werden, die Inhalte und Aufgaben rund um das Thema Energie mitgestaltet. Funktionen des TZE- Labor, Forschungs- und Entwicklungsstandort für den Forschungsschwerpunkt Energie an der Hochschule Landshut. Thermal Processes & Emission Control In Waste Management & Recycling Teer , Rwth Aachen University
At the Unit of Thermal Processes and Emission Control in Waste Management and Recycling, short TEER, we teach and research in the fields of thermal, physical and chemical conversion of fossil, renewable and secondary energy carriers. Special focus lies upon the reduction of harmful environmental effects. We focus our research on real-world application. By all our scientific curiosity we do not lose the practical value of our results. We see ourselves as a partner and service provider for industrial companies. Our services reach from conceptual planning all the way to the characterisation of different combustibles. Since December 2023, TEER stands for “Thermal Processes and Emission Control in Waste Management and Recycling” replacing the former name “Technology of Fuels”. The renaming emphasises the expansion of our focus from a sustainable energy supply to thermal processes as an important building block for closing loops in the sense of a circular economy. The TEER has started its work in August of 2009. The previous institution has been the „Lehr- und Forschungsgebiet für Kokereiwesen, Brikettierung und Thermische Abfallbehandlung“.

Urban Electric Mobility Initiative Uemi
The Action Platform: Urban Electric Mobility Initiative (UEMI) was initiated by UN-Habitat and the SOLUTIONS project and launched at the UN Climate Summit in September 2014 in New York. The UEMI aims to contribute significantly to the overall goal of limiting the increase in global mean temperature to two degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels by decreasing urban CO2 emissions globally. As one of the Action Areas of the UN Climate Summit the UEMI aims to phase out conventionally fuelled vehicles in cities and integrate electric mobility into a wider concept of sustainable urban transport. The secretariat of the Urban Electric Mobility Initiative was established to facilitate the operation of the Urban Electric Mobility Initiative. The UEMI secretariat develops partnerships with local authorities, industry, SMEs, knowledge and network partners to implement innovative urban electric mobility solutions. The UEMI partnership currently consists of over 150 partners collaborating on implementation-oriented projects.

The WZB Berlin Social Science Center conducts basic research with a focus on problems of modern societies in a globalized world. The research is theory-based, problem-oriented, often long-term and mostly based on international comparisons. Arl - Academy For Territorial Development In The Leibniz Association
The ARL is an independent, non-partisan institution for the spatial sciences under public law and is based in Hanover. The academy offers knowledge-based analysis and advice on current sustainable spatial development issues. Complex social challenges require integrative and thus interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives. The specific working method of the ARL, which is transdisciplinary and network-based, allows for close collaboration and a wide-ranging exchange of ideas and knowledge between members of the academic community and planning practitioners. The ARL’s network of eminent experts from science and practice carries out research and knowledge transfer activities within the Academy’s joint working bodies, thus offering important insights and findings for the future-oriented development of spatial structures and the political and planning measures necessary for shaping them.

Bam8.3 - Thermographic Methods
The Thermographic Methods division at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) develops solutions for non-destructive testing and measurement technology problems in the field of thermography. These solutions can be employed with great flexibility in industrial production processes, for quality assurance, for inspection and monitoring, and for repair and recycling. Investigations can be performed without any material destruction or contact at both very small and very large distances. Metallic and non-metallic materials as well as composite material systems can be tested at various length scales ranging from micron cracks up to 100 m long rotor blades. Due to high testing speeds and high grade of automation, the method is suitable for in-line inspection.
