The MAPP Centre does research that generates insight into citizen, consumer and customer behaviour in the food system, and analyses the implications of such insight for industry and public policy. For industry, insight into customer behaviour is a major input in market-oriented product development, which is widely accepted to be a cornerstone in attempts to attain and sustain future competitiveness, and it is also a decisive ingredient in the development and implementation of sustainable business strategies and corresponding competence development. For public policy, insight into the determinants of food choice and consumption habits is an important basis for the development of policies that address public concerns in the areas of food choice, health and nutrition, and sustainability.

Center For Ecological Dynamics In A Novel Biosphere Econovo
Center for Ecological Dynamics in a Novel Biosphere (ECONOVO) is a DNRF Center of Excellence - funded for a 6 years’ period by the Danish National Research Foundation from January 2023 – December 2028. In Center for Ecological Dynamics in a Novel Biosphere (ECONOVO), we aim to produce groundbreaking insights into how the worldwide emergence of novel ecosystems impacts biodiversity and biosphere functioning and how we can steer these dynamics towards the most positive outcomes for life on Earth as possible. ECONOVO’s research program is organized around four research themes to provide the much-needed basis for predicting the consequences of the accelerating global spread of novel ecosystems and improving their value for Earth’s biodiversity and biosphere functioning.

Center For Klinisk Epidemiologi, Ouh
Klinisk epidemiologi er en vigtig nøglefunktion i forhold til at kunne drive evidensbaseret patientbehandling i et moderne sundhedsvæsen, og er derfor en central funktion på et universitetshospital. Klinisk epidemiologi er den ekspertdisciplin, som har patienten som omdrejningspunkt, og som analyserer patienters prognose, dvs. vi undersøger hvilke faktorer, der har betydning for eksempelvis patienthelbredelse og -død. Afgørende faktorer for patienters prognose er diagnostik og behandling, og derfor udgør disse områder hovedhjørnestenen inden for klinisk epidemiologisk analyse. Forskningen og forskeruddannelse ved centeret udgår fra Forskningsenheden for Klinisk Epidemiologi. Vi udøver klinisk epidemiologisk forskning på internationalt niveau i samarbejde med lokale, regionale, nationale og internationale forskere og forskningsinstitutioner. Forskningsenheden bidrager med en række af internationale publikationer årligt og indhenter eksterne forskningsbevillinger. Cluster For Molecular Imaging
Cluster for Molecular Imaging (CMI) is an interdisciplinary research group affiliated with both Rigshospitalet and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. CMI aims to develop and translate into clinical use new imaging and therapy methods based on nuclear medicine. All our research is driven by developing methods that solves unmet medical needs in patients, and includes all steps from molecular identification to clinical evaluation.

Copecare
Copenhagen Center for Arthritis Research (COPECARE) is an award-winning research unit within rheumatology, focusing on inflammatory joint diseases. The unit is organized under Department of Spine Diseases, Centre of Head and Orhopaedics, Copenhagen University Hospital, Rigshospitalet Glostrup. The unit comprises around 50 employees, including 4 professors, 10-15 post docs, 10-15 PhD’s, a data team and a group of administrative staff members. First of all, the researchers at COPECARE study rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis and gout. A large number of patients suffering from these diseases participate in research projects which are initiated by COPECARE or our collaborators. The overall purpose of these projects is to develop ever better diagnostics, management and treatment for patients suffering from rheumatic diseases. In 2021 COPECARE authored 240 publications including 142 original articles and 67 conference abstracts. Every year we present research results at international conferences e.g. EULAR (European Alliance for Rheumatology) and ACR Convergence (American College of Rheumatology). From 2015 to 2020 COPECARE won the Global Excellence in Health and EULAR Centre of Excellence prizes – both prizes that we in COPECARE are very proud to have received.

Det Sektorfri Forebyggelseslaboratorium Forebyggelseslaboratoriet
Det Sektorfri Forebyggelseslaboratorium er en ramme, hvor forskellige aktører er samlet om at afprøve forebyggelsestiltag, både i og uden for sundhedsvæsenet og på tværs af sektorer. I Forebyggelseslaboratoriet er det muligt relativt hurtigt fx at lave pilotafprøvninger af gode ideer for at vurdere, om det er relevant med igangsættelse af en egentlig afprøvning. Der er også plads til større projekter, hvor der arbejdes mere i dybden med en problematik. Projekterne i laboratoriet skal være partnerskabsprojekter på tværs af forskellige aktører og sektorer, gerne med offentlig, privat og civil deltagelse. Forebyggelseslaboratoriet bliver drevet af Region Hovedstaden på vegne af alle regionerne og er administrativt forankret ved Center for Klinisk Forskning og Forebyggelse (CKFF), som i samarbejde med Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Sundhedsfremmeforskning (SDCC), varetager driften af Laboratoriet via et sekretariat.

The Section of Digital Building Technologies strives to transform the architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management industry by developing, applying, and integrating new digital methods and technologies across the whole life cycle of buildings and infrastructures. This encompasses the entire chain from initial design through construction to the operation and reuse phase of valuable assets in the built environment. Our ultimate aim is to achieve on-time, cost-effective, energy efficient, sustainable, high-quality solutions while ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all project stakeholders and end users. Solutions to societal challenges: Our research focuses on digital methods and technologies such as digital twins, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), additive manufacturing/3D printing, automation and robotics, smart materials, smart buildings, extended realities, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and linked data. Leveraging the full potential of these digital innovations offers open, transformative solutions to pressing societal challenges related to the built environment by eliminating emissions and waste, extending asset lifetime, enhancing functionality, boosting energy efficiency and flexibility, improving reusability, all while advancing standards. In addition to our research activities, we contribute significantly to the education within DTU. We actively participate in various educational programs, covering a range of degrees, including Bachelor, Diploma, Masters, Ph.D, and Executive (lifelong learning) programs. The Social-Ecological Systems Simulation Sess Centre - Aarhus University
Vision The Social-Ecological Systems Simulations Center aims to facilitate systems understanding and decision-making. SESS focuses on the development of simulation as a tool to explore the implications of management decisions on the environmental, societal and economic aspects of managed systems. Objectives SESS strives to become a center of excellence, leading international scientific advances that focus on theory and practice of simulation of social-ecological systems. In SESS we want to understand the complexity of dynamic adaptive systems and their inherent feedbacks, to support the development and application of social-ecological systems simulation to management of complex social-ecological systems in the real world. Our overall aim is to develop theoretical and methodological approaches to social-ecological system simulation in support of goal-oriented systems management, by establishing an international reputation for scientific and technological excellence in applied social ecological simulation modelling. Methods We work with complex software simulations, data sets from GIS, agricultural/farming systems and weather, and have life cycle models for diverse species of insects, bird and mammals, as well as people.

Center for Rusmiddelforskning (CRF) er et forskningscenter under Psykologisk Institut på Aarhus Universitet. På CRF undersøger og deler vi viden om rusmiddelbehandling, forbrug af alkohol og stoffer – både problematisk forbrug og rusmiddelkultur, forebyggelse af problematisk forbrug af rusmidler, lovgivning på rusmiddelområdet, og hvordan narkotikamarkedet udvikler sig. Vores viden er med til at udvikle og kvalificere rusmiddelbehandling, kvalificere politiske beslutninger, forebygge rusmiddelproblemer og holde os alle informerede om danskernes forhold til alkohol og stoffer. Forskning i rusmiddelbehandling Vi afprøver, dokumenterer og udvikler behandlingsmetoder. Derudover indsamler vi data sammen med rusmiddelbehandlere og hjælper med at bruge data til at forbedre rusmiddelbehandlingen i Danmark. Forskning i brug af rusmidler Vi undersøger hvordan og hvorfor mennesker bruger alkohol og stoffer, og hvorfor nogle udvikler et pro-blematisk forbrug af alkohol og stoffer. Herunder er vi optagede af og har viden om sammenhængen mellem psykiske lidelser og brug af alkohol og stoffer – dobbeltdiagnoser. Forskning i forebyggelse Vi undersøger metoder til at forebygge, at mennesker ender i afhængighed eller et problematisk forbrug af rusmidler – både børn, unge og voksne. Derudover undersøger vi skadesreducerende indsatser som sto-findtagelsesrum, heroinbehandling og gadesygeplejersker. Forskning i narkotika- og alkoholpolitik Vi er med til kritisk at vurdere beslutninger på rusmiddelområdet. Fx undersøger vi, hvordan narkotikalovgivningen har udviklet sig i Danmark og den virkning den har for borgerne. Debat Vi ønsker at sikre en konstruktiv debat og respektfuld omgangstone på vores side. Indlæg, der indeholder personangreb, vil således blive fjernet. Multidisciplinær forskningsenhed på Afdeling for Kræftbehandling, der forsker i senfølger efter kræft og indsatser der støtter patienter og pårørende i hele sygdomsforløbet. Cbio - Centre For Circular Bioeconomy
Center for Cirkulær Bioøkonomi, CBIO, blev etableret i maj 2017 af Science and Technology på Aarhus Universitet. På centret laver vi banebrydende forskning på tværs af universitetets områder. Vi har omfattende forsøgsarealer på både hav og land og unikke forskningsfaciliteter, hvoraf flere er i fuld pilotskala. The CBS Sustainability Centre is a multi-disciplinary research centre devoted to the study of sustainable practices and developments in organizations, markets and society at large. The centre was established in 2002 and is today recognized as one of the leading research environments of its kind in Europe.
