Aarhus Denmark Microdialysis Research Admire

Aarhus Denmark Microdialysis Research (ADMIRE) was founded in 2013 and has since then become the leading research group worldwide to use microdialysis for sampling of antimicrobial concentrations in bone and soft tissues. Recently, the focus has expanded to quantification of tissue concentrations of chemotherapy for optimization of antineoplastic treatment and evaluation of ischemic and inflammatory markers in a broad range of tissues. The activity in the group is great with a strong drive for high-quality research and high-impact publications. Vision 1: To optimize the prevention and treatment of bone and joint infections by optimizing current antimicrobial dosing regimens. Vision 2: To assess the effect of different orthopaedically relevant interventions and improve the understanding of the etiology of bone and joint infections by evaluating in situ ischemic metabolites and inflammatory protein markers. Vision 3: To optimize antineoplastic treatment regimens and evaluate local toxicity by measurements of chemotherapeutics in target tissues.

FAOS - Forskningscenter for Arbejdsmarkeds- og Organisationsstudier - er et forskningscenter ved Sociologisk Institut, Københavns Universitet. Med over 30 års erfaring bidrager FAOS med grundlæggende viden om arbejdsmarkedsrelationer og cutting-edge forskning i arbejdsmarkedets komplekse udvikling i både Danmark og globalt. Centeret anvender en kombination af kvantitative og kvalitative metoder og teorier inden for bl.a. industrial/employment relations. FAOS er i tæt dialog med arbejdsmarkedets parter og relevante politiske og administrative institutioner i Danmark, EU og globalt og formidler aktivt sin forskning til både parter, institutioner og dansk offentlighed. FAOS samarbejder med internationale forskningsmiljøer gennem komparative tværnationale forskningsprojekter, hvilket styrker den globale forståelse af arbejdsmarkedets dynamikker.

Interacting Minds Centre Imc

The Interacting Minds Centre (IMC) provides a transdisciplinary platform to study human interaction. It involves researchers from the humanities, social sciences, cognitive sciences, biology and clinical research. This is necessary, because through interactions, humans construct worlds that are at once physical, economic, symbolic and normative. We will therefore study the interplay between three related topics: cognition, communication, and choice. Bringing these fields together to bridge topics related to human interaction makes IMC a unique methodological and theoretical centre of research and inquiry.

Kardiologisk Forskningsenhed Ouh Svendborg

Du kunne måske tænke dig at blive en del af vores forskningsafdeling. Vi udfører klinisk kardiovaskulær forskning. Basis elementer er ud over patienten; Hjerte-CT og ekkokardiografi. Vi har i miljøet PhD studerende, Postdoc og medicinstuderende tilknyttet. Vi ide-sætter og udarbejder projekter sammen. Her er man aldrig alene idet vores filosofi er sammen når vi mest. Forskningsenheden ledes af klinisk professor og driften varetages af postdoc. Vi udfører en del kommerciel forskning til finansiering af den vigtige non-kommercielle forskning. Til driften er tilknyttet 2-3 forskningssygeplejersker og 1 forskningssekretær.

SHAPE - Shaping Digital Citizenship er et forskningscenter, der skal fremme demokrati og medborgerskab i en verden præget af data og algoritmer. Målet er at generere viden på højt internationalt niveau, men også at bidrage til den offentlige debat, virksomheder og civilsamfund. SHAPE er et nysgerrigt og åbent center, hvor tværfaglighed betragtes som en nødvendighed, og hvor samarbejde med politikere, beslutningstagere, organisationer og andre interessenter vægtes højt. SHAPE bygger på en lang skandinavisk tradition for tværfaglig og inddragende forskning i demokrati og informationsteknologi, som siden sin begyndelse i 1980erne har stået stærkt på Aarhus Universitet. Dermed har SHAPE et stærkt fundament for skabelsen af nye erkendelser, begreber, metoder og samarbejdsformer, som kan bidrage til, at data og algoritmer anvendes til at fremme demokrati og medborgerskab. Ambition SHAPE vil skabe viden og løsninger i tæt udveksling med det omgivende samfund. EurIPS is a presentation venue for accepted NeurIPS papers. We provide a community-driven venue in Europe to share and discuss the latest advances in machine learning research. We are soliciting proposals for workshops. EurIPS is a new initiative which is endorsed by NeurIPS, Nordic AIR and is co-developed by ELLIS. Ceca Research Centre

CECA is funded by the Department of Politics and Society and the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities at Aalborg University (AAU), Copenhagen. CECA - Centre for Coercion and Accountability provides a multidisciplinary research environment concerned with understanding how coercion and accountability coexist, to gain insight into the global dynamics of coercion and demands for accountability, protection, and justice. As the phenomena are often researched separately or with disciplinary biases, CECA provides a new institutional hub for interdisciplinary research on coercion and accountability to facilitate a dialogue across disciplines. Hence, CECA’s research meets at the interface of international relations and security studies, political science/public administration, anthropology, sociology, history, and socio-legal studies, migration studies, criminology, and human rights scholarship. Methodological pluralism is central to the centre’s foundation with researchers contributing with quantitative and qualitative analyses. Altogether, CECA builds on an ecosystem of different research projects that share a concern with coercion and accountability, with the ambition of serving as a hub of excellence for collaborative and cutting-edge research on coercion and accountability.

Copenhagen Journal Of Asian Studies

The Copenhagen Journal of Asian Studies (CJAS) is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed, open-access, academic journal dedicated to the study of modern and contemporary Asia. We publish articles words), reports from the field, research notes and book reviews. Emerging scholars is a new category at CJAS that highlights high-quality and peer-reviewed scholarship by graduate students. Our objective is to bridge the humanities and social sciences through comparative analysis while refining and disseminating methodologically and theoretically innovative research on Asia. We inclusively define Asia as East, Inner, West, Central, South, and Southeast Asia, along with global Asian cultural spheres and diasporas. At the same time we problematise the idea of ‘Asia’ as a unified region by attending to transnational dynamics, hybridities, social change, Asian diasporas and global cultural flows. In early 2020, CJAS returned to the University of Copenhagen, where it first started more than thirty years ago. The return of the CJAS to the University of Copenhagen has entailed changes in the academic profile of the journal. The journal welcomes submissions within the following three areas: 1.
