Dtu Bioinformatics
The Department of Bio and Health Informatics (colloquially known as DTU Bioinformatics) is one of the several departments under The Technical University of Denmark (DTU). DTU Bioinformatics is focused on translating wealth of life and health sciences data into improved human and animal health and to develop solutions to problems of biotechnological and industrial interest. Bioinformatics is the term used to refer to the combination of methods in biology, computation, and information management, which are necessary to advance research relating to all aspects of living systems - from individual molecules, cells, and organs to entire organisms. In our department, we perform research and teaching as well as innovation and consulting within the areas of life and health sciences with our following core research disciplines and capabilities: •Health and genome informatics •Biotech informatics and epidemiology •Quantitative genetics and systems biology •Artificial intelligence and machine learning. The department, with the critical mass and infrastructure in the above areas, is contributing to national initiatives such as: •Personalized, Precision and Predictive Medicine •OneHealth (Human and Animal Health) •Supercomputing solutions for Big (Omics) data. Today the need for training skilled bioinformaticians is huge, and it will only increase in the years to come, as the available biological data is growing exponentially, and at a faster rate than the compute power. New tools are therefore needed to analyze these data. This is where DTU Bioinformatics comes in. International Development Research Group, Roskilde University
Development Studies, and the field of development, is transforming rapidly as conventional understandings of development and geographical boundaries are challenged. In the International Development Research Group (IDRG) we use an empirically based, multidisciplinary approach to grapple with these changes to generate new understandings and explanations, and advance critical development theory. The research group is rooted in the International Development Studies Program at Roskilde University that was established in 1985. It is the oldest and one of the largest programs of its kind in Scandinavia.

University Of Copenhagen Technology Transfer
University of Copenhagen Technology Transfer is the technology transfer office for the University of Copenhagen. As a result, we span a huge range research, knowledge and innovation. You can view some of the inventions that we currently offer here: https://research.ku.dk/collaboration/inventions/invention-catalogue/ We ensure the transfer of exciting inventions from the labs to the market place: • Our highly skilled legal advisors negotiate a large number of collaboration agreements between the University of Copenhagen and external partners. The legal team handles all questions related to intellectual property rights and work together with our commercial team on licensing agreements between the University/hospitals and external partners. • Our commercial officers represent a wide range of scientific backgrounds. Most have a background in research, some are certified patent attorneys, some are themselves entrepreneurs, and all have valuable professional experience from industry. They assess the commercial potential of inventions and negotiate the commercial licence agreements with industry partners in Denmark and internationally as well as with newly-formed spin-out companies. Human Robot Interaction Lab
The Human Robot Interaction lab is a strategic research initiative at Aalborg University, Denmark aiming at creating synergies between all departments that are working on Human Robot Interaction with different disciplinary perspectives. To this end we have defined a research strategy "From Reactive to Proactive Robots" that will focus on different challenges if robots are envisioned to work side by side with humans in dynamic environments both in production contexts but also in societal context like health care, education, or commerce. This will require robots to become socially accepted, to become able to analyze human intentions in meaningful ways, and to become proactive. Being proactive and thus (partly) autonomous requires new methods for intention recognition and the pursuit of common goals that are relevant in the given context in order to maximize task success. Our mission is to establish an interdisciplinary and cross-departmental research group around these topics. This will be achieved by defining cross-departmental PhD projects in order to integrate perspectives from design, interaction and control. While being a faculty initiative at the moment, we are open to collaborate across the university and welcome associated partners.

Techno-Anthropology - Aalborg University
Techno-Anthropologists are focused on contributing to raising awareness, managing, and solving complex socio-technical problems with multiple stakeholders from private, public and civil organisations in different professional areas, such as- Medicine, health and welfare information technology - Biotechnology - User involvement - Sustainability Techno-anthropology is not based on one particular view on technology but encompasses different concepts of technology. However, the programme is generally informed and inspired by the analyses and conceptions of techno-science and technology, which have been developed in the interdisciplinary fields of Science and Technology Studies and Philosophy of Technology among others. We believe that our contribution to technological development should be based on an interdisciplinary style of work and on a broad socio-technical understanding of technology.
