Geosat Research Lab Of Geophysical Satellite Remote Sensing & Archaeo-Environment, Ims-Forth
Since 1996, the Laboratory of Geophysical - Satellite Remote Sensing & Archaeo-environment (GeoSat ReSeArch LAB) of IMS/FORTH is active in basic and applied research in the fields of Geophysical Prospection, Satellite Remote Sensing, Aerial Reconnaissance, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), 3D Reconstructions, Virtual Reality applications and Archaeo-environment and has been widely and internationally recognized due to the quality of the results of the research projects carried out, the services provided, and the training of students and professionals both in Greece & abroad. GeoSat ReSeArch Lab is hosted at the premises of IMS-FORTH in the Old town of Rethymno, Crete. The Lab employs the most modern and state-of-the-art techniques and instrumentation for accurate field measurements and has the technical support that meets the needs of processing, analysing and mapping geophysical and satellite data. The Lab is a node of reference for GIS applications in cultural domain and landscape studies. The Lab has participated in more than 75 large-scale national and interna-tional research programs (Dragon3 European Space Agency, Aristeia/Excellence I and II, Thalis (General Secretary of Research and Technology), KRIPIS, EU Marie Curie, USA-NSF, Stavros Niarchos, Research Promotion Foundation (CY) of the Republic of Cyprus, Wenner-Gren, EU Culture 2008-2013, Leverhulme Trust, University of Cyprus, LIFE, e-Content, INTERREG, ARCHIMED, ETPΑ, PΕΝΕD, ΕPΕΑΕΚ, I NSTAP, NERC, Region of Crete, 3rd Community Support Framework and Cohesion Fund, Innovative actions ΕΤΠΑ, Bilateral research programs with Cyprus, China and Bulgaria, etc.

Intelligent Systems Research Lab I-Lab
The University of the Aegean, as an Academic Institute, through its research potential and research laboratories, has developed successful past and active collaborations with research institutes, businesses, as well as with development, social, business entities. These collaborations have been achieved and many continue to exist through joint educational and research programs and exchanges within national and European programs such as NSRF 2007-2013, H2020, European Territorial Cooperation, Erasmus + and other development initiatives. The Cultural Technology and Communication (CTC) department is a multi-disciplinary department, with research focusing on humanities, informatics and media sciences. Several faculty members have a strong research portfolio securing of external funding, as well as the production of high-quality research outputs. Among the Research labs in the department, the Intelligent Systems Lab (i-Lab) research and develops Intelligent, Interactive and Internet technologies to support the reproduction, display and promotion of cultural heritage assets and services. Innovation Hub
Innovation Hub belongs to the Support Operations Division of PPC S.A.(Public Power Corporation S.A.). Until recently it was widely known in the Private and Public sector as “Testing Research and Standards Centre”. The Center’s activities include the provision of services not only to the units of PPC Group but also to external customers; namely large organizations of the Public and Private sector. The services provided include tests in Hub's laboratories, accreditation, research, consulting, inspections, instrument calibration, implementation science and analysis, as well as quality control through inspections on materials and technical equipment, new or used. Hence, the Hub’s activities are extended so as to satisfy the need for high scientific level research and to deliver services of highly specialized requirements. It should be noted that all the aforementioned activities can be conducted with safety and reliability in the facilities of Innovation Hub, in customer’s premises or elsewhere, where the examined object might be situated. Innovation Hub is accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System (E.SY.D) according to ISO standards 17020 and 17025. To preserve the validity of accreditation, Innovation Hub is subjected to regular and thorough inspections by E.SY.D. In that way we monitor not only the level of Hub’s operational efficiency, but also get evaluated upon the tests’ and inspections’ reliability and accuracy.

Robotics Club Uop
The Robotics Club is a group created in 2002 by graduate students from the Robotics Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at the University of Patras. The aim was to enable students to learn about and get involved with cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, automation, and programming. Today, the club has several members and is located in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. Most members are undergraduate students from the Departments of Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. The club receives scientific and financial support from the Robotics Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics. We design and construct small- and medium-sized robots from scratch, focusing on fields from hardware design to software engineering. By following the development process, our members develop the skills required to excel in their future professional and academic activities.

FEBS was founded in 2010 by Professor Constantin Zopounidis in Greece, aiming towards establishing itself as a worldwide research society that will promote the exchange of ideas, research results, and experiences among academics and professionsals working in all areas of financial engineering and banking. This will facilitate the understanding of financial engineering, improve the current practices in the banking industry, and support decision and policy makers in facing the increasing challenges and the opportunities in the global markets. LabGeo is one of the newest laboratories established in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2020). It is active in the areas of Geoinformatics and Geospatial Engineering as well as in the development and implementation of R&D projects at national and international level. LabGeo’s efforts span state-of-the art knowledge and technology from spatial/image information acquisition, processing, analysis to representation and visualization. The area of projects’ that LabGeo is acting concerns Geoinformatics, Geospatial Engineering and ICT in the broader extent, i.e. software development, mobile & web applications, GIS, geodatabases & data mining, photogrammetry & computer vision, remote sensing, imaging, 3D modelling, geospatial technologies, mapping and cartography, navigation and surveying, laser scanning. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) is the sixth oldest, and among the most highly ranked tertiary education institutions, within Greece. It is the largest university in Greece and in the Balkans and its campus covers square metres in the centre of Thessaloniki, with additional educational and administrative facilities elsewhere. Ulf Forth
The Ultraviolet Laser Facility-ULF FORTH combines state-of-the-art experimental facilities with a rich spectrum of research. Since 1990, ULF - FORTH has been operating as a European Research Infrastructure and has been very active in Transnational Access (over 450 users from the EU and associated member states, over days of beam time, around 320 research projects and hosts circa 50 external users per year). It has been among the initiators of the LIMANS cluster of laser facilities, the LASERNET network and LASERLAB EUROPE. The host institution also participates in other I3 projects EUSMI and CHARISMA, the ESFRI initiative ELI, ACTAPHAST 4.0, IPERION-CH/MOLAB and NFFA.
