In the Social Behavioral Experimental Research Lab, we conduct lab-based experimental research on social psychology. Intergroup relations, social identities, political psychology, existential psychology, social influences, ideology-related processing biases, and gender role norms are among different topics we study at Social Behavioral Experimental Research Lab. We conduct lab-based experiments using social-cognitive methods such as reaction time measures with the help of research tools (e.g. E-prime) in addition to the correlational studies using self-report measures. For experimental research, the laboratory at MEF University is equipped with a camera system to track group dynamics whenever necessary. Researchers and students can carry out their own projects voluntarily using Social Behavioral Experimental Research Lab facilities.

Elektrikli Taşıtlar için Batarya Teknolojileri Araştırma ve Geliştirme Platformu Elektrikli Taşıtlar için Batarya Teknolojileri Araştırma ve Geliştirme Platformunda 7 Adet teknik ve 1 Adet Toplumsal Etki Analizi Projesi olmak üzere toplam 8 adet proje yürütülecektir. Projede, Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesinin Otomotiv, Makine, Endüstri ve Çevre Mühendisliği Bölümlerinden öğretim üyeleri teknik projede araştırmacı olarak; Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Sosyoloji Bölümü, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi İşletme, Ekonometri ve Çalışma Ekonomisi ve Endüstri İlişkileri Bölümlerinden öğretim üyeleri ise Toplumsal Etki Analizi Projesinde araştırmacı olarak görev alacaklardır. TÜBİTAK 1004 Mükemmeliyet Merkezi Projesinde Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesinden 28 adet araştırmacı, 30 adet bursiyer ve 2 adet yardımcı personel görev alacak olup proje kapsamında platformda 103 araştırmacı, 41 bursiyer ve 10 yardımcı personel olmak üzere toplamda 154 proje personeli bulunmaktadır. Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesinin Araştırma Programı Yönetici Kuruluş olarak yer aldığı TÜBİTAK 1004 Mükemmeliyet Merkezi Destek Programı kapsamında, tüm dünyada talebi giderek artan elektrikli taşıtlar batarya taşıyıcı sistem ve komponentleri için özel sektör, yükseköğretim kurumları ve kamu kurumları araştırma altyapıları işbirliği ile yüksek teknoloji platformu oluşturulması hedeflenmektedir. “Elektrikli Taşıtlar İçin Batarya Teknolojileri Araştırma ve Geliştirme Platformu (BATEG)" başlıklı araştırma programımızda, Eskişehir Teknik Üniversitesi (İleri Teknolojiler Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi), TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi (İleri Mühendislik Çalışmaları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi), TÜBİTAK RUTE (Raylı Ulaşım Teknolojileri Enstitüsü) ile beraber Coşkunöz Metal Form Makina End. ve Tic. Biotin Hub
BIOTIN doctoral programme features an international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral approach to provide 10 doctoral candidates (DCs) a unique blend of research training skills in the convergence of life sciences, engineering, and computational & data science, and entrepreneurship skills, with the aim of advancing innovation in biomedical research and education. The programme will be a unique educational experience immersing DCs in courses and trainings on entrepreneurship at the early stages of their curriculum, and on data science and computing, in addition to classical biomedical sciences and engineering courses. BIOTIN is coordinated by Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) in collaboration with two partner organisations: Boğaziçi University (BOUN) and Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG). IZTECH, IBG and BOUN are located in two major cities of Türkiye, İzmir and İstanbul and all will be recruiting DCs. In addition to the host recruiting institutions, a total of 29 associated partner organizations, including 18 academic and 11 non-academic organizations, most of them in Europe and the United States, will contribute to the programme. The BIOTIN programme has defined 20 PhD thesis projects that applicants can choose from in three intertwined themes of biomedical research:(1) drug discovery and development,(2) diagnosis and (3) tissue engineering and artificial organs. We investigate the neural aspects of autonomic functions especially brain-gut signaling. Our research focuses on discovering the alterations that occur in gastrointestinal motor functions in response to neuropeptides, drugs, stress, nutritional status, and different diets. The main goal of our research team is linking the bench to bed by discovering novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment and reversal of pathological changes in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease and functional disorders including irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia.
