Ege Teknopark Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi A.Ş. 10 Ağustos 2014 tarihli ve 29084 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan 2014/6500 sayılı Bakanlar Kurulu Kararı ile kurulmuştur. Ege Üniversitesi Rektörlüğünün 100% hisse sahibi olduğu Ege Teknopark Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesinin yönetimi ve işletmesinden sorumlu olan Ege Teknopark Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi Yönetici Anonim Şirketi 13 Kasım 2014 yılında tescil edilmiştir. Kuruluş sürecinde yerel, ulusal ve uluslararası paydaşlar ile yapılan arama toplantıları sonucunda “Yaşam Bilimleri ve Sağlık” temasında öncelikli olarak faaliyetlerini sürdürmesi planlanan Ege Teknopark, 1 Ocak 2015 tarihinden itibaren girişimci şirketlere yer tahsisi yapmaya başlamıştır. Ege Teknopark Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi Yönetici A.Ş.’nin ortaklık yapısı tek ortaklı olup tamamı Ege Üniversitesi Rektörlüğüne aittir. Tek ortaklı bir yapıda olmasına rağmen TGB Yönetici A.Ş.’nin Yönetim Kurulu farklı kurum ve kuruluşların temsiline imkan verecek şekilde; yerel, ulusal, uluslararası kurum ve kuruluşlarda görev almış ve/veya hali hazırda görev yapmakta olan deneyim ve etkinlik sahibi 7 kişiden oluşmaktadır. İzmir’in dördüncü Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi olarak kurulan Ege Teknopark, başta yaşam bilimleri ve sağlık alanları olmak üzere İzmir ve Bölgede diğer paydaşlar ile işbirliği ve sinerji halinde çalışarak Bölgenin Ar-Ge ve inovasyon potansiyelini artırarak katma değeri yüksek ürünlerin geliştirilmesi ve nitelikli istihdamın artmasını hedeflemektedir.

Established in 2013 as the Board for Quality and Standards BQS as a joint committee to manage education and training quality and standards within signatory organizations. In 2015 the BQS became an independent training organization under MBQS, offering services with focus on education, training, and project management. In October 2018 the Board of Directors of the MBQS was restructured to become the GQS, and started operating in providing training, education, and consultancy in 34 fields known as the GQS Subject Categories. Textile Technology Working Groups” (TTÇG) is formed by Uludağ Textile Exporters Union (UTİB) in 2007 with the participation of the relevant organizations and associations around Bursa to make a vision for the future of Turkey’s Textile Sector. To reach this aim, a company of which UTİB & “Uludağ Ready to Wear and Confection Exporters Union” (UHKİB) are the owners has been established on August 18th, 2008 under the name of “Uludağ Exporters Union, Bursa Textile and Confection Technology, Education, Research, Consultancy and Energy Efficiency Services” (BUTEKOM) BUTEKOM’ s purpose is to encourage and support the textile and apparel companies in and around Bursa for the production of innovative technical textiles and apparel products, for the development of high value-added fashion and brand named products, for the increased energy efficiency and to establish necessary training, coordination and communication on time between sector joint owners. Additionally, BUTEKOM is responsible from the guiding and focusing of the random R&D activities of textile and apparel companies primarily UİB members in and around Bursa.
