Winemaker, Jessica Carroll, has been making wine commercially in Livermore for over ten years, and now brings her craft to JMC Cellars.

We are a vineyard and winery with a coastal vibe offering a variety of award wining wines. Located on the northern point of Kent Island (Love Point) and offer expansive views of the Chester river. A hop, skip, and a jump from Annapolis, Baltimore, and DC. We have 12 acres under vines. Some of the wines we are currently offering in our tasting room include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Nouveau, Rose, Sangiovese, Seyval Blanc, Summer Breeze, Vidal Blanc and Slipstream (sparkling). We have a great hardscape area with an area to relax and enjoy our wines while taking in the beautiful river or vineyard. Shadow Mountain Vineyards & Winery LLC dba Shadow Mountain Vineyards, is a recognizable brand with award-winning wines going back to the early the vineyard was first planted in 1945, and has been expanded since that point in time, to include 12 different varietals, winery facilities, a barrel room, bottled wine storage, a tasting room, outdoor covered event center, picnic areas, and bungalows for agricultural tourism / glamping. With red wines, white wines, rosé wines, as well as sparkling and dessert wines, Shadow Mountain provides for almost any palate. Italian and French varietals, both single varietal wines as well as blends, including the Old Gus blend from the original vineyard (Syrah, Grenache, and Barbera). Old vine zinfandel, chenin blanc, as well as Chardonnay planted in 2015, the property contains 92 producing Nebbiolo vines and a historic re-planting of Mission grapes. Customers are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to come and relax and enjoy an afternoon with friends, food, and wine, as well as live music most weekends.
