About Alonzo Alarcon

I'm seeking to transition into the role of Juvenile Probation Officer. Over the past year and a half, I've been involved in recovery. During this period of time, I've learned a lot about myself and discovered I have a passion to be there for youths and those that life has not handed a fair hand. Through my past life experiences, ranging from being abused to struggling to navigate life and being addicted in order to cope with it all, I am able to connect with many individuals that are hurting or really struggling in life. I believe that many of the incarcerated are people that made bad decisions, not because they are bad people, but due to the inescapable reality of their trauma suffered during their childhood. It is my hope to make use of what was intended to destroy me to help others. More specifically, to be there for those trying to reintroduce into society that are still battling their past. I get it, not everyone fits this profile, but most do, and with all that I've learned about personal responsibility, accountability, integrity, making the next right choice, taking it one day at a time, healing from past wounds, and so on. I believe that it is possible for anyone to recover from their past and turn their lives around.Feel free to contact me with opportunities of such a role!
