My name is Alyssa and I am a values-driven and detail-oriented mental health advocate, research assistant, and lifelong learner with experience in the non-profit industry. I am skilled in direct and open communication, language use, crisis intervention, and community engagement. As Research Assistant for Michigan Medicine’s Youth Depression and Suicide Prevention Program (YDSP), I contribute to program development efforts such as the close reading/editing of document and website content with a keen focus on language use, readability, and accessibility.
