About Arooba Khalid

With a background in psychology and a passion for community well-being and growth, I am committed to supporting individuals on their journeys toward healing, empowerment, and growth.With hands-on experience as a peer coach, research assistant, and community worker, I’ve developed a foundation in empathetic communication, active listening, and client care. My work has spanned diverse populations, including immigrants, students, patients, and women in vulnerable circumstances. I’ve also seen firsthand, through both professional and personal experiences, how strong emotional support can shape healthier lives and relationships.My goal is to pursue graduate studies in counselling or psychotherapy and build a career rooted in compassion, that aims for community care and community healing.Currently, I’m seeking opportunities to grow in the fields of counselling and psychotherapy while continuing to learn from and contribute to organizations that center compassion, mental health, and cultural sensitivity.I would love to connect, especially if you’re passionate about mental health, parenting, advocacy, or creating safer, more supportive communities through therapeutic and human-centered work.
