As I child growing up, my parents noticed a distinct quality about me that stood out to them. I was a very social person who enjoyed the presence of people all the time. I never understood why I enjoyed being around other people but it seemed to always bring a positive attitude for me. I was always enjoying hanging out with my friends and staying connected with others as much as possible. As I got plugged in to my local church, I began to develop an enjoyment for helping people. I went through a season in my life where I was confused about my career and what I wanted to do for my future. I constantly thought of ideas and how I could apply my skills into a career, but nothing seemed to make sense. I continued to pray about the situation and it all started to make sense to me. Why not use my love for helping people as a way to decide my career? I’ve recently received the dream to pursue a career in the Ministry. It’s one of my biggest goals in life. However, I do want to explore other ways I can serve other people before I fully pursue my dream.
