I am Chartered Engineer with a Masters Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management. I have over 20 years post graduate experience in the construction industry consisting of 4 years as a Senior Engineering Inspector, 14 years experience as a Principle / Senior Resident Engineer, 2 years experience in a design consultancy role and 2 years experience on a research Masters Degree on concrete technology. My Core Qualities Include: • Capable of managing large infrastructural projects with multiple stakeholders and have a proven track record of managing design changes, determination of claims, processing interim payment applications and budget management associated with the construction stage of large infrastructural projects. • Extensive experience in the contract administration of Public Works Forms of Contract in my role as a Senior Project Resident Engineer. • A strong ability to adapt to the task in hand, to self-knowledge and communicate effectively with Clients & Contractors. • Experience in the various stages of the procurement process, both open and restricted, including the preparation and evaluation of suitability questionnaires and tender submissions leading to the appointments of contractors. • Experience in the preparation of contract documentation including the production of specifications & drawings in accordance with the NRA DMRB & MCDRW. • Excellent report writing skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project software. • Quality management skills include document control and operation of quality management systems associated with the successful delivery of large infrastructural projects. • Competent in chairing and controlling meetings involving multiple stakeholders ensuring all key objectives of the meetings are addressed. • A very capable performer with initiative, key leadership qualities, diligence and comfortable in both managing and working as part of a team.
