Background
About Ellen Turner
I have a passion for living an active, holistic lifestyle. I received my BA in Philosophy from Colorado College and soon after I completed training at the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy and am now a Licensed Massage Therapist. Next, I attended the California Institute of Integral Studies, receiving my MA in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Somatic Psychotherapy. I've appreciated working therapeutically in various settings including offering Somatic Psychotherapy at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy as well as working as a Grief Counselor with Hospice by the Bay. I am currently enjoying my work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with Grateful Heart Holistic Therapy, a Creative Project Manager with the Paul Ekman Group, and occasionally continuing my work as a Massage Therapist. In my free time, I love to explore the great outdoors, spend time with animals and improvise in the kitchen.
