Background
About Fred Sproat
I have more than 10 years in the outdoor education field working with diverse groups in a number of different roles and setting. From leading multi-week backpacking and canoeing trips in Canada, to developing curriculum and introductory outdoor programs for students from under-represented communities my direct experience facilitating experiences in the backcountry is the backbone of my professional abilities. I am systems focused with experience working in both the for profit and not for profit sectors of the outdoor industry and have an eye for developing curriculum and programs that emphasize positive and fulfilling experiences for participants.
