About Hazel Tetsill

Hello! I am Hazel, I lead the Channels Analysis Team in Business Strategy Directorate in DWP. I have previously worked in the Labour Market Interventions Research and Evaluation​ team in Labour Market Analysis Division, and before that led the Wellbeing, Inclusion and Strategy Analysis (WISA) team in People Analytics. I've worked in DWP for 7 years, entering on the Analytical Fast Stream. I started out working in Disability Analysis Division on PIP, before moving to Children, Families and Disadvantage and worked on a range of projects such as Prison Work Coaches, Local Family Offer, Relationship Support Contracts and led on the commission of the Evaluation of the Reducing Parental Conflict Programme. I then worked in Employers, Health and Inclusive Employment (EHIE) leading the Evaluation of the Work and Health Programme. Next I worked in Business Strategy Analysis, working on developing the DWP Digital Propensity Model and providing varied analytical support to strategy colleagues,(and now I have come full circle and returned to Business Strategy to head up my former team).
