About Jack Gallagher
I am a dancer, dance maker, educator and dramaturg working since 1994 in the Netherlands. Now based at De Stilte Danst in Breda, NL, choreographing and acting as dramaturg and coach in the field of dance for young audiences and their loved ones since 2008. My approach is fuelled from my passion to expand and grow and gain insight into how to enrich both personal and common understandings. How to keep the fires of enthusiasm, optimism and creativity burning. My work is based in the psycho-physiological, the phenomenological. My passion is for the very particular Dutch Dance Theater that asks of its audiences to co-create the artistic experience: exercising the human faculties of distinction, mapping the human heart, surfing the waves of meaning creation together with people of all ages and walks of life.
