I am a self motivated, pragmatic and solution oriented engineer, with the ability to implement various schemes, policies and strategies within a political environment and with an aptitude for working independently or within and across teams to analyse and solve complex problems in a logical manner. I have the ability to engage staff across a range of engineering and transportation services, a skilled manager of complex programmes with organisational awareness, have excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and strong political skills including an ability to influence and negotiate with Members and other public representatives. I am knowledgeable at a detailed level of relevant British and European Standards and Codes of Practice, Traffic Signs Manual, Highways Act, NRASWA, DMRB and DDA. NEC accredited Project Manager with a detailed understanding of contract law and measurement costing (CESMM, MMHW). I am driven by meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
