About Jerry Abrams

As an Envisioneer with CCL’s Innovation Lab, he explores the future of leadership development, conducting innovation projects that are future looking and technically challenging. He scouts for potentially relevant innovations and evaluates them for their applicability to the Center’s purposes. He acts as an embedded Innovation Agent, participating in key projects and initiatives to enhance the innovation of the results. He also works to enhance the culture of innovation CCL, enabling staff throughout CCL to be more innovative in their roles. He is recognized by customers for the balance of his thinking and perspective across creative and analytic, strategic and tactical, near-term and far-term, and macro and micro dimensions. He has been noted for his ability to easily move between these poles and discover novel insights to advance individuals’, groups’, and organizations’ development, promoting breakthrough thinking among them. As a senior Organization Development practitioner he has significant expertise in individual, group, and organization leadership development; instructional design, experiential activity development, and human-centered design processes; strategic processes design, team development, and organization development interventions; process, behavioral, and learning facilitation; behavioral, performance, and learning assessments; assessment-based individual, group, and organization coaching; adult learning, knowledge management, and instructional technologies. He has additional depth and specialization in advanced social-technical group decision processes, tools, and technologies; collaborative inquiry tools and methods; individual/group creativity, individual/group cognitive errors, and individual/group learning processes, tools, and technologies; developmental facilitation, action learning, and action consulting; technology in support of synchronous and asynchronous process, behavioral, and learning facilitation.
