About Kyle Grant

As the Director of Expansion Canada at REEF, I lead the strategic development and execution of the company's vision to transform underutilized urban spaces into thriving hubs for the community. With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality and culinary industry, I bring a unique perspective and skill set to this role, combining operational excellence, creative problem-solving, and customer-centric thinking. In my previous role as Director of Operations at REEF, I oversaw the daily operations and performance of more than 20 locations across Canada, managing a team of over 100 employees and ensuring quality standards, safety protocols, and financial goals were met or exceeded. I also spearheaded several initiatives to enhance the customer experience, optimize the menu offerings, and leverage technology and data to drive efficiency and growth. Prior to that, I was the Chef de Cuisine at Fairmont The Palm, Dubai, where I led the culinary operations for a five-star resort, catering to diverse and discerning guests from around the world. I have also completed certifications in Change Leadership and Strategic Marketing from Cornell University, and hold a WSET Level 2 Award in Wine and Spirits. I am passionate about creating memorable and meaningful experiences for people, and I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities.
