About Lara Stalder

In 2013, I graduated from the High School for Business in Luzern, Switzerland. From 2013 to 2017 I was a student athlete at the University of Minnesota Duluth (USA) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Retail Marketing Analytics. Prior to my education in the United States, I already experienced the working environment in Switzerland with a one-year internship in the marketing department. A part of my bachelor degree also included an internship in the field of my major, which I did during the summer of 2017 with the company "Bischofszell Nahrungsmittel AG" in Switzerland. My next chapter in my life was written in Sweden, where I continued my studies in Linköping and graduated in June 2019 with a Master's Degree in Strategy and Management in International Organizations. After two years of playing for Linköping Hockey Club, I moved to Gävle for four years, where I was part of the Women’s Ice Hockey Team with the club Brynäs IF. For the club I also worked part-time in Marketing and Sustainability. Together with Brynäs IF I was able to be part of a bigger journey towards creating equal opportunities for women’s hockey. Currently and after 10 years abroad, I moved back home and joined the hockey organization EVZ in my home region to start a journey in Swiss Women’s Hockey to create equal structures for the next female generations! Besides being part-time an ice hockey player, I work 60% as CEO Assistant & Projects. Furthermore, I am also honored to play for the Senior Swiss National Team since 2011 and my sport career in general have taught me skills such as teamwork, dedication, taking responsibilty, time management and breaking boundaries.
