Before sharing a bit more about me and the journey that led me to where I am today, I’m curious… • Have you ever contemplated a BIG life or career change, the kind that requires deep reflection, self-belief, courage and trust to take a leap of faith and follow an uncharted path? • Have you ever encountered one of these changes where the decision to leap was not yours but rather an unplanned circumstance that pushed you to find a new way forward ready or not? It was one of those unplanned "What If" circumstances that set me on a path to explore my “What's Next” life chapter. After nearly 25 years as a corporate communications leader and people manager at a company I loved and had every plan to stay with until retirement, I suddenly found myself managing through a mid-life job elimination. I remember experiencing so many feelings – upset, fear, anxiety, self-doubt and even a sense of loss for a job that served, for so many years, as the source of my identity. While that unexpected event was by far one of the most difficult career challenges I’ve faced, it gave me something I didn’t even know I needed - the gift of time and space. Suddenly, I had time to “check in” with myself and explore if the career I had chosen, the role I was in and the work I was leading still filled me with purpose and joy. The answers to those questions are what led me to the journey I am on today, pursuing my passion for leadership and career coaching. Navigating that career crossroad of chance gave me the clarity and confidence to pursue a pathway that aligns with my values and fuels my purpose - partnering with professionals to unlock the inner blocks that may be getting in the way of realizing their full potential, creating the success they envision and achieving their life and career goals. My journey to becoming a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and living a more purposeful, fulfilling and joyful life has been one of increased self-awareness and higher consciousness of who I am, how I want to show up in the world and the impact I want to make in the lives of others.
