My work aims to increase agency and facilitate workforce skill development for adults outside traditional credentialing systems. I love applying learning science research and user interview best practices to building products and tools that help people learn in ways that fit their purpose, skill level, and learning preferences. I currently run a startup called ShoMe: a search engine built to allow self-directed learners in the workplace to quickly find blogs, tutorials, Tweets, etc. that answer their "how do I." questions. Right now, we primarily serve startup founders learning how to raise money. I also have a Masters in War Studies from King's College London. I previously earned a Bachelors from Duke University where I majored in Philosophy and minored in Electrical & Computer Engineering. In my personal life, you'll find me frequenting local coffee shops and addictively learning various other things, including watercolor painting, Italian, why some Airbnb's drastically out perform others, and more.
