About Nacho Castillo

Hi! I'm Nacho, an Indudtrial Designer based in Barcelona. I love clean, elegant, and honest designs that improve people's lives, having always functionality in mind for the user. That’s why I’m a passionate designer, helping people conceptualize and develop ideas to bring them to life. Coming from a background in architecture, back in college, I decided that it was never too late to change my career, so I decided to switch the buildings for products. As I always say, it is just a change of scale, the needs while designing remains the same, so adapting was pretty easy for me. Currently I’m an Industrial Designer at Nacar Design. I really enjoy taking care of the full process of design from concept to final product, working hand in hand with engineers, marketing or other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. In this time, I’ve been privileged to work on award-winning products, such as the IF Award or the Red Dot Award. As a freelance designer, I have collaborated with clients from all over the world in a wide range of sectors, such us consumer electronics, personal care and soft goods, among others.
