As the Occupational Therapist Deputy Team Manager at Brent Council, my role involves overseeing the Access and Information Team, ensuring effective service delivery for clients requiring occupational therapy support. I am responsible for coordinating and allocating assessments, managing team workflows, and providing clinical supervision to staff. With extensive experience in Public Health and Adult Social Care settings and community care pathways, I have developed specialist expertise in working with children and adults with a range of physical, mental, and functional needs, as well as learning and developmental disabilities across both acute and community care teams. Passionate about my work, I believe that providing community-based care requires collaborative efforts. I recognise that collaborative gains are only possible when people work together to achieve better outcomes for service users.
