About Rachel Snelson

I am a highly motivated individual who has lived a very full life, being fortunate enough to travel the world and work many of my dream jobs including being a Tour Director with Contiki, Working on a beautiful tropical island resort in Far North Queensland, working on the Great Barrier Reef as a Cruise Director and more recently on a sailing yacht in the Mediterranean. Upon returning to Australia, my work in the Disability Sector began as I became a Support Worker/Cafe Manager. Here I was privileged to mentor, train and guide supported employees to empower them to develop skills and confidence to achieve workplace and personal goals. It was here my passion for the disability sector began and I knew it was something I always wanted to be involved with. After taking a break to have my beautiful son, who is now 2, I returned to work as a Business Supports Manager however, still yearning to work in Disability, I knew there was something missing. I am excited to now be an Independent NDIS Support Coordinator with Auscare and am honoured to be able to continue to help to empower great futures for people living with disability and their families.
