About Sergio Contreras

As an HR Manager at Sevillo Fine Foods, I leverage my passion for optimizing HR functions to drive business growth, enhance employee experience, and foster a high-performing workplace. With over 7 years of experience in human resources, I have successfully led the implementation of a new HR software and time clock application, streamlined HR processes, and improved efficiency. I have also designed and executed a comprehensive new hire and onboarding program, resulting in a 56% workforce growth. Additionally, I have spearheaded safety initiatives that contributed to a significant reduction in Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR). Prior to joining Sevillo Fine Foods, I held managerial roles at Sam's Club, where I directed and managed all human resource functions, including hiring, employee relations, and scheduling. I am fluent in Spanish and have strong problem-solving skills. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the HR field.
