About Sofia C.

Hi, I’m Sofia — a Clinical Mental Health Counselor passionate about supporting adolescents and adults through a person-centered, collaborative approach to therapy. I empower clients to take the lead in their healing process, helping them move toward clarity, growth, and self-acceptance. As a woman of mixed identities, I strive to create an affirming, inclusive therapeutic space where clients can safely explore the intersections of identity, experience, and feelings. My clinical background includes working with adolescent through geriatric populations in a psychiatric hospital setting, where I focused on safety, empathy, and collaborative treatment planning. Before entering the field of mental health, I supported children and teens of diverse abilities and backgrounds as a childcare provider, tutor, and martial arts coach—experiences that continue to shape my holistic, strengths-based approach.
