I'm a grants management professional who believes leadership is about service, empathy, and follow-through. For the past four years, I've led grant operations at a private family foundation, balancing the technical side of grants management with a people-centered approach. I manage our grants system and oversee the full lifecycle—from intake to payment to reporting—making sure things run smoothly, compliantly, and with as little friction as possible. I work closely with colleagues across finance, IT, and programs, as well as with grantee partners, to keep systems clear, responsive, and grounded in real-world needs. My approach is rooted in servant leadership. I see systems as a way to support people, not the other way around. I value communication, equity, and trust-based philanthropy, and I’m always looking for ways to improve workflows—whether that means building a better dashboard, facilitating a training, or fixing a process that just isn’t working. At the heart of it, I care deeply about making grantmaking more thoughtful, more efficient, and more useful—for the people doing the work and the communities they serve.
