About Subhashis Nath

I help global organizations create Risk Centers of Excellence working with the C-Suite to transform their risk operations.   With both extensive experience and an entrepreneurial spirit I want to challenge how the services are delivered and how we prepare the next generation of risk professionals for success. I’m also a huge proponent of India’s potential to become the global center of risk excellence and education.   My risk management journey began with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young before deciding to ‘risk it all’ by founding Axis Risk Consulting in 2004. From the outset I focused on developing an industry first remote model for internal audit and compliance review based out of India.   We soon caught the attention of Genpact and joined the business in 2008 where I’m now the Service Line Leader for Enterprise Risk and Compliance Solutions.   A core focus and passion of mine is talent. I’m committed to creating the working environment to attract develop and retain the brightest risk professionals in the world to Genpact.   My interests extend beyond Genpact too and I am the Founder and Mentor at the Global Risk Management Institute in Gurugram India since 2015. Being a mentor gives me the chance to play a hands-on role in developing structured risk management education to bridge the gap between academic theory and the real-world skills needed to drive the profession forward.
