Special Operations Care Fund Soc-F
The primary mission of The Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) is to provide direct support to both active and retired members of the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) Community and their families. We “fill in the gaps” of specific healthcare and family needs that are generally not met by government or other private sources. These “gaps” primarily relate to family issues and behavioral health treatments. SOC-F supports Gold Star Kids family retreats and intensive therapy for at-risk marriages, as well as behavioral health treatments such as Magnetic Resonance Therapy (MeRT)—a highly customized use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), psychedelic therapies for Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and 12-Step treatment programs for alcoholism and addiction. Secondarily, we support other recognized and trusted 501(c)(3) organizations who focus on similar medical and family needs of our SOF war fighters and their families.

MISSION The mission of Special Ops Survivors is to embrace and empower surviving families of Special Operations personnel to build a future that their fallen heroes would have wanted for them. DESCRIPTION Special Ops Survivors focuses on serving the unmet needs of surviving spouses by complementing the assistance provided by other organizations. We are the only organization exclusively dedicated to serving surviving spouses of active duty Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Special Operations personnel who have died in combat or training since September 11, 2001. OVERVIEW Special Ops Survivors helps ease the shock of losing a spouse by providing assistance to newly widowed spouses through peer support from other surviving spouses who have already gone through, survived and overcome similar tragedies. We also provide financial assistance for long-term educational and career goals, emergency financial aid, and individual emotional support. Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force
Mission: The Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force detects, interdicts, and disrupts drug smuggling and associated illicit activities at the request of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies by leveraging unique military skills and assets in order to support national counter-narcotic strategies and objectives, as well as the National Guard State Interdiction and Counterdrug Activities Plan for the State of Texas. What is the Texas Counterdrug Program? Created by Congress in 1989, the National Guard Counterdrug Program provides law enforcement narcotics support and is executed by the Governor. The Texas Counterdrug Program supports the strategic goals of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force provides professional support to multi-jurisdictional, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and community-based organizations in the state of Texas. All support is conducted in accordance with the Texas Adjutant General's vision, and the National Guard Bureau policies and Executive Orders. The Texas Joint Counterdrug Task Force is a "World Class" organization that plays a vital role in the war on drugs. Although the Counterdrug Program is federally funded, the Soldiers and Airmen within the program are all National Guardsmen under the control of Texas. As Guardsmen, we are “Citizen Soldiers;” your fellow neighbors. The talented Soldiers and Airmen who live among various communities throughout the state want the same thing you do…a safer community. Our personnel are experts in reconnaissance and long-range observation, analytical support to law enforcement investigations, aviation, administering training, and drug demand reduction outreach support throughout the state. We are passionate about using our unique military skills to help support our local communities with law enforcement drug interdiction and provide direct law enforcement narcotics support.

The Home Front Cares provides emergency and responsive support and grants for Colorado’s military members, veterans and their families, who have been impacted by service to our Nation. Our grants pay for essential life expenses, such as rent, utilities and transportation. We serve the entire state of Colorado and all branches of service, including Guard and Reserve. As the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan wind down, our clients are now almost all veterans struggling with the transition to civilian life, as well as Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injuiries or other physical or emotional wounds. We receive no funding from the Federal Government - we rely entirely on grants and donations. Since 2003, we have raised more than $8.5 million and helped thousands of veterans and military families in need.
