The Centers offer high-level science coursework in core curriculum and advanced topics in physics and advances quality science education with the aim of cultivating the next generation of scientists in Israel. The centers model is based on a concentration of infrastructure, equipment, and personnel. מרכז מדעני העתיד לקידום מחוננים ומצטיינים של קרן מיימונידיס הוקם במטרה להעניק לתלמידות ולתלמידים מצטיינים ומחוננים אפשרויות משמעותיות למיצוי הפוטנציאל הייחודי שלהם באמצעות השתתפות בתכניות ייחודיות, איכותיות ומובילות בתחומים מגוונים. המרכז שואף ליצור קהילת בוגרים מומחים בתחומים שונים, משפיעים ופורצי דרך, שיהוו את נבחרת העילית של החברה בישראל, ויסייעו בהתמודדות עם האתגרים הגדולים של המדינה והעולם. המרכז מציע תכניות ייחודיות למחוננים ומצטיינים, המאפשרות להם להשתלב בעולם המרתק של האקדמיה והמחקר כבר בזמן הלימודים בתיכון. מרכז מדעני העתיד מפעיל את התכניות: אודיסיאה- תכנית ללימודים אקדמיים במדעים אלפא- תכנית למחקר בתחומים מדעיים אידיאה- תכנית למחקר בתחומים הומניסטיים התכניות מציעות למידה ומחקר בסביבה אקדמית, מפגשים ועבודה משותפת עם חוקרים ואנשי אקדמיה מובילים בתחומם, חשיפה לעולם הידע המדעי העשיר ופעילות חברתית מגוונת. בנוסף, המרכז מפעיל בשיתוף עם מינהל תקשוב, מדע ומערכות מידע במשרד החינוך ומוסדות אקדמיים את נבחרות ישראל במדעים בתחומים בתחומי הכימיה, מתמטיקה, מדעי המחשב ופיזיקה וכן את נבחרת ישראל הצעירה במדעים. כמו כן, פועלת במרכז רשת בוגרים בשם אסכולה המיועדת לכלל תלמידות ותלמידי התכניות של מרכז מדעני העתיד. הרשת מסייעת לבוגרי התכניות של מרכז מדעני העתיד לממש את הפוטנציאל האישי והקבוצתי שלהם שיהוו בעתיד מנהיגות אחראית בתחומי המדע והטכנולוגיה במדינת ישראל. ההשקעה המשמעותית בתכניות אלו נועדה ליצור תשתית למצוינות אקדמית ומחקרית, כמו גם קהילה של צעירות וצעירים פורצי דרך בעתיד, שתהווה את חוד החנית של החברה הישראלית במגוון תחומים.

Shoval Program

Shoval" is a study program for integrating people with cognitive impairment in academic institutions, designated to bestow a feeling of capability and to promote equal opportunity in cooperation with IDC Herzliya, Tel Aviv University, and Israel Elwyn. People with intellectual disabilities (ID) suffer from stigmas and negative stereotypes, sometimes leading to their exclusion from the public sphere and discrimination in various areas. The project is designed to enable people with ID to study in an the academy, while creating for the participants a cognitive challenge along with experiential enrichment. More so, Shoval promotes social inclusion and social integration of the participants in the project in the campus, and is managed and operated voluntarily by students from various schools who function as teachers and mentors. Each year, Shoval holds two sessions, one in each semester, with 15 students with ID. Each semester, 10 meetings are held each week, in which academic fields are taught in the fields of law, communications and psychology, as well as practical skills in the use of computer applications, English and financial management. Students volunteer in the project in two main tracks: the first, Teachers track - to teach academic and practical content during the meetings. The second, is the Mentor track - personal guidance of the participants in the project, and assistance in the learning process and in the process of adaptation and entrance to the campus. The project was established as part of the Rabin Leadership Program in 2018.

תוכנית בהשתתפות 20 סטודנטים מוכשרים ושאפתנים, שנמצאו מתאימים מבין עשרות רבות של סטודנטים, אשר העשייה החברתית בוערת בהם והם נכונים לתרום לקהילה. הסטודנטים מצוותים ל 20 גמלאי העיר הרצליה במטרה להצליח לייצר קשר רגשי ואישי גם מחוץ למפגשי התכנית. התכנית הינה מטעם אגודת הסטודנטים, בשיתוף פעולה עם עיריית הרצליה ומפעל הפיס ומפגשיה המשותפים מתקיימים באוניברסיטת רייכמן.
