ACUM is a non-profit corporation administering the rights assigned to it by its members – authors, composers, lyricists, poets, arrangers and music publishers. The rights administered by ACUM include performing rights, mechanical rights (audio and audio-visual reproductions), reprint rights and, partly, “grand rights”. By its reciprocal representation agreements ACUM also administers these rights- fully or partly on behalf of hundreds of thousands members of 107 affiliated Societies from all over the world. ACUM was established in 1936 by a small group of leading authors and composers, and has now a membership of ca. creators and publishers. ACUM's Board of Directors consists of 7 members - 3 authors, 3 composers and 1 publisher- elected by the full members for a two year term. The board members may be reelected without limitation. ACUM is an ordinary member of CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers), and of BIEM (International Bureau of Societies administering Mechanical Rights).

Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society
The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition came in¬to being in 1973, at the initiative of Jan Jacob Bistritzky, a close friend of Arthur Rubinstein, who was honored to give his name to the Competition. Conceived in the spirit of this legend¬ary pianist, the Competition is com¬mitted to attaining standards of the highest order and is a valid interna¬tional forum for presenting talented, aspiring young pianists and fostering their artistic careers. The piano competition first took place in 1974 and is held every three years. The tremendous success of our first three piano competitions led, in 1980, to the creation of the Arthur Rubinstein International Music Society. These competitions were recognized as having added significantly to the development of Israel’s cultural life and also received worldwide acclaim as an important musical manifestation at the international level. The past 40+ years of its history have continuously produced pianists who went on to international acclaim: Gerhard Oppitz, Angela Cheng, Alexander Korsantia, Kirill Gerstein, Alexander Gavrylyuk; Igor Levit, Khatia Buniatishvili, Boris Giltburg, Daniil Trifonov and others.

Bardo Recording Studios was established in 2002 by Erez Caspi and Yossi Shakked (Hasson). Our clients include some of the top selling artists in Israel as well as popular TV series with recordings, mixing, mastering and sound editing. In September 2005 we moved the studio to the former "Hammon" recording studios facility, which was the place where we both began our careers as sound engineers, this time returning to it as the studio owners. The new Bardo Recording Studios were designed and built by Recording Architecture of England, with a vision of providing Israeli musicians with the highest quality recording studio, build according to strict European standards. We are a digital recording studio equipped with state-of-the-art Pro Tools DAWs′, control rooms, and recording gear, including a well stocked microphone cabinet. The "crown jewel" is Bardo′s amazing live room in Studio A, with unique sound and acoustics that are unmatched by any other studio in Israel. In addition, we provide world-class mastering services at our state of the art mastering studio. Since 2001 we′ve taken part in some of the largest and most ambitious music projects in Israel. We also performed multi-channel recordings for live concerts with an endless credit list. The Jerusalem Music Centre (JMC) was founded in 1973 by legendary violinist Isaac Stern and Mayor of Jerusalem Teddy Kollek, with the assistance of Yad Hanadiv (a Rothschild Foundation) and the Jerusalem Foundation. The JMC’s purpose was to nurture the finest musical talents from all over Israel, and as a result of more than 40 years of work, many such talents can be seen performing on prominent concert stages across the world. The JMC takes pride in its tradition of bringing the world’s finest musicians to Israel to play and teach. As a truly global centre for musical excellence, the JMC has hosted many of the preeminent musicians of the 20th century, including Arthur Rubinstein, Pablo Casals, Leonard Bernstein, Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma and Alfred Brendel. The JMC enjoys exceptional recognition from, and cooperation with musical institutions throughout Israel, including local conservatories and Israel’s two musical academies. The Kiryat Ono Conservatory
The Kiryat Ono Conservatory was established in 1962 by Aharon Alkalay RIP. Alkalay, a music teacher in the Nir elementary school, sought to establish the conservatory in the aim of having a professional music school in town, in which playing lessons and musical theory lessons will be taught, alongside musical ensembles and orchestras. From then on, the conservatory has been leading the way in musical education in Kiryat Ono and as a multicultural home to its students and alumni. In addition to instrument teachings, students of the conservatory take an active part in a variety of musical activities, including: wind instrument orchestras, percussion orchestras, brass orchestras, woodwind instrument orchestras, a big-band ensemble, a dixie ensemble, saxophone ensembles, various chamber ensembles, masterclasses, seminars, concerts, theory classes and musical literature.

Classes are held in Ramat – Gan, and are led by Osnat Isaac. Osnat has vast teaching experience and, more than anything, a big love for music and a great approach to people. Osnat is a “Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music” graduate, and is currently completing her B.A. in music instruction at “Levinsky College”. Osnat believes that one can start at any age, even with no prior experience. So, although one might be a “clean slate”, one can slowly get to know and enjoy all colors and shades of music. She strongly believes that each and everyone of us is not only allowed but should take part in this magical journey. The area of music is big and broad. Although the lessons focus mainly on voice training and technique development, Osnat believes that it is important to engage in other related sub-areas, such as ear-training, rhythm, theoretical principles, understanding of the written text and so on. All these and more are taught in “Hatav Harishon Shely” in a highly professional and highly serene manner.
