NSD is a national archive and center for research data. National Institute Of Occupational Health
The National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) is the national research institute in Norway in the field of work environment and occupational health. The Norwegian name of the NIOH is Statens arbeidsmiljøinstitutt (STAMI). The NIOH is a scientifically independent department of government organized under the Ministry of labour and social affaires, and is a scientific and strategic advisor for the Labour inspection authority and the Petroleum safety autorithy. Sios - Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System
The Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (SIOS) is a regional observational system for long-term measurements in and around Svalbard, addressing Earth System Science (ESS) questions related to Global Change. The upgraded observing system and research facilities offered by SIOS build on the extensive observation capacity and diverse world class research infrastructure provided by many nations already established in Svalbard. This includes a substantial capability for utilising remote sensing resources to complement ground-based observations. From this foundation, SIOS envisions a significant contribution to the systematic development of new methods and design for the implementation of observational networks in Arctic environments. SIOS is aiming at more efficient use and better integration of the observing system based on a distributed data management system, an open access program that includes logistical support, as well as training and education activities. The annual State of the Environmental Science in Svalbard (SESS) report summarises the knowledge about the state and development of key parameters (“core data”) as well as analysis of how parameters influence other key entities. It also summarises the work that has been done in the last year within the SIOS cooperation to optimise the observing system and gain fresh insight into unanswered questions in Arctic Earth System Science. Arctic Business Index
In spring 2025, the project was endorsed by the Arctic Council Sustainable Development Working Group with the new project name, Arctic Business Index. Norway and Canada are co-leads of the project. The main objective of the Arctic Business Index project (previously known as Business Index North) is to increase awareness of opportunities as well as challenges for sustainable economic development in the Arctic. Since 2016, we have collected and analyze data, developed analytical reports, online tools, and contributed to informed debate via various dialogue arenas for Arctic stakeholders. The project provides reliable, knowledge-based information about sustainable economic development in the Arctic for decision makers such as international institutional bodies, national and regional authorities, investors, and entrepreneurs. This information is also used by educators, the media, and students.

Pure Logic AS is a company that specializes in the concept development process where there typically is too much information and it is difficult to compare different solutions with various traits. Ict4cop Center
The ICT4COP Center aims to perform cutting-edge research and teaching on central issues related to community-based policing (COP) and post-conflict police reform. In doing so, the Center will develop and apply novel approaches to address current and emerging challenges related to the multitude of choices which can be made in policing, security provision and police reform in these difficult contexts. Understanding human security in post-conflict areas is at the core of this Center. Where conventional, top-down police reforms fail, Community-Based Policing (COP) holds promise – but also entails challenges. ICT4COP was a EU Horizon 2020 funded project (2015-2020) with The Norwegian University of Life sciences as project coordinator and Dr. Ingrid Nyborg as project leader. The project comprises 11 work packages. 11 case countries, spread across Latin-America, South-Eastern Europe, Africa, and South Asia.
