Nettare Dei Santi
La storia vitivinicola della famiglia Riccardi risale alla fine del 1800, quando le uve coltivate nei vigneti di proprietà venivano vinificate nella vecchia tinaia dell’oratorio di San Rocco a San Colombano. Alla fine degli anni 40 Franco Riccardi, dopo aver lasciato l’attività sportiva che lo aveva portato alla gloria olimpica con ben 4 ori nelle gare di spada, decise di trasformare quella che fino ad allora era stata una passione di famiglia in un’attività imprenditoriale, dando nuova immagine al prodotto ottenuto, imbottigliandolo e facendolo conoscere sulle tavole dei milanesi. I Colli di San Colombano, carichi di storia e di tradizione, avevano bisogno di produttori che, presane coscienza, rendessero loro nobiltà e importanza, portando sulle tavole, soprattutto dei Milanesi e dei lodigiani, dei vini dall’esuberante freschezza e fragranza e dal profumo intenso. Alla fine degli anni 60, dopo la scomparsa del padre, il figlio Enrico rilevò l’attività di famiglia e creò due importanti vini che tuttora simboleggiano l’azienda: la verdea la Tonsa e il Roverone. Nel 1980 Enrico Riccardi trasferì la cantina dal centro del paese alla cima della collina fra i vigneti di proprietà, diventando una delle più affascinanti realtà vitivinicole di San Colombano. Oggi il figlio Gianenrico, con la stessa passione e dinamicità imprenditoriale, dà continuità alla storia vitivinicola di famiglia realizzando nei vigneti, prima ancora che nelle botti, prodotti di qualità, nell’assoluto rispetto dell’ambiente e con lo sguardo sempre rivolto alla qualità e all’innovazione.

Siamo convinti che la sostenibilità agricola sia un mezzo per favorire la bellezza ambientale. In Pasini San Giovanni la viticoltura biologica è una buona abitudine. Come il buon vino e la buona tavola.

PDC produce esclusivamente Cartizze, il famoso Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze. Un prodotto d’eccellenza, biologico certificato con particolare attenzione al design contemporaneo. PDC è l’unica Azienda Agricola specializzata nella sola produzione di Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze e ha sede a Valdobbiadene, nel cuore della prestigiosa zona del Cartizze. Rifiuta pratiche di coltivazione intensiva con l’obiettivo di produrre vini spumanti di altissimo livello. La produzione annua è limitatissima: 15 mila bottiglie. Ad oggi è l’unica realtà in Cartizze a certificare BIO, coltivando e vinificando attraverso pratiche sostenibili ed equilibrate.

Poggio Le Volpi
In order to find the roots of Poggio Le Volpi Company we have to make a leap back of almost a century. Everything began in 1920, when Manlio Mergè starts his production of wine and oil. His passion for the land is first transmitted to his son Armando and then to his grandson Felice. Both transform the dream of grandfather Manlio into reality, founding in 1996 the Poggio le Volpi Farm in Monte Porzio Catone.This is a volcanic origin area, herefore its is inherently fertile. Poggio le Volpi represents the first business turning point of the family company. If Armando started the Monte Porzio Catone production and the transformation of the company from local to a national one, Felice, following the business inclination of his father,becomes enologist leading the company into the circle of the most interesting winemaking companies in terms of production in the Lazio region, achieving high appreciation amongst the national and international niche wine lovers. Felice Mergè cultivates a modern and varied winemaking tradition, typical of eclectic and ambitious people, just like Manlio and Armando Mergé. Since 1920 the Mergè story is about territory, passion and quality.

The art of winemaking. The Moretti Cuseri family writes the beginning of its wine history between Florence and Arezzo, in the heart of Valdarno. Historians such as Tito Livio, Plinio il Vecchio, saints such as St. Francis, men of art and letters such as Cimabue, Giotto, Brunelleschi, Michelangelo, Dante Alighieri, Petrarca, Machiavelli and Leonardo Da Vinci have painted and described its landscapes and traversed it over the centuries. A passion for viticulture and a deep respect for sustainability were values that immediately contributed to the production of wines of great character and elegance. Tenuta Sette Ponti, an evocative name inspired by the Seven Bridges over the Arno River located along the road from Florence to Arezzo. The best known of them, the Buriano Bridge built between 1240 and 1277, can be glimpsed in the background of two masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci: the Mona Lisa and the Madonna dei Fusi. The location, geographical orientation, winds and breezes that flow through the estate, combined with careful agronomic care between the rows with the help of expert farmers and agronomists, lead to the production of the highest quality grapes, which are essential for making great wines. Precisely the utmost attention to the land and plantings, respect for nature and its rhythms, and love for the vineyard are the basis of wines recognized and appreciated by domestic and foreign critics. Time is measured not only in years, but also in harvests: we cultivate the vine in the name of man, to make it express its highest virtues. One must not mind time to produce great wines that have balance, elegance, precision, depth, identity, territoriality. It is a complex undertaking, as if it were always a work of art, and involves a coincidence of circumstances: special conditions of climate and soil, precise and meticulous daily work in the vineyard and cellar, and finally a healthy dose of dedication.

Once the famous automotive business was abandoned, Engineer Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to go back to his roots: being a farmer. While traveling in these areas, he fell in love with the landscape and in 1968 he bought the estate, with 100 hectares of land divided among a 9-hole golf course, an agriturismo and several vineyards. In the mid-90s most of the vines were replanted, preferring varietals such as Sangiovese and Merlot, for the production of wines of the highest level.
