Garden Creek Ranch Vineyards Winery
Founded in 1963, Garden Creek Ranch is a winegrowing estate in the eastern hills on the Mayacamas Mountains near the town of Geyserville, in the heart of the Alexander Valley, in Sonoma County, California. Comprised of 100 acres (41 ha), the property rises in elevation from 225 to 625 feet (68 to 190 m) above sea level. The estate has been sustainably farmed with regenerative and organic practices for the past thirty years, and the diverse hillside vineyards are matched in soil diversity by the strength of the grand mountains above. The Warnelius-Miller family has been winegrowing since 1969 at Garden Creek. Our second property lies in Anderson Valley in Mendocino of 160 acres of high elevation at 2200 feet to be developed with vineyards in 2026. Additionally, a third estate vineyard in Anderson Valley with a 5-acre vineyard focused on three clones of Pinot Noir at feet in elevation. In 2001, we began handcrafting wines seeking purity and sophistication with a reflection of our dynamic soils and climate guided by traditional winemaking methods. Our focus is deliberate with two wines from our home estate vineyards. Garden Creek Tesserae, Estate Red Wine, Alexander Valley (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Garden Creek Chardonnay, Estate Clonal Selection Alexander Valley. A third wine released in August 2024: WärneliusMiller Pinot Noir, Golden Fleece Estate Vineyard Anderson Valley Mendocino. Crafted to age for decades. Wines driven by soils only exist from exceptional vineyards. Purity, typicity and balance describes Garden Creek. Garden Creek wines are offered by allocation and sold to select restaurants across the US and internationally. A visit to our property is only offered to Private Members on our mailing list or by request.

Liberty Cellars
Liberty Vineyard is set on a 38-acre ranch in the rolling hills just east of Paso Robles. Our CSWA Certified Sustainable vineyard consists of 20+ acres planted on south-facing hillsides at elevations ranging from 906' to 1102'(almost a 'purple mountain majesty'!). The altitude and slope offer optimal sun exposure, frost protection, and preferred vine stress. The soils are a favorable mix of loam with veins of broken calcareous shale and tumbled river stone. We continue to enhance the vineyard each year with projects such as more sustainable techniques, regenerative farming, and scheduled replantings. The Paso Robles AVA features excellent winegrowing conditions: High amplitude diurnal temperature swings (i.e. hot days, cool nights!) enabled by the Templeton Gap, world-class terroir, a long growing season, and more.

After his introduction to wine in his early 20s by his wife Elise, CJ moved to Oregon and joined the Portland Trail Blazers, finding himself just a short drive away from one of the top wine regions in the country. There, he was able to pursue his newfound passion even further. Turning his passion into business, CJ launched McCollum Heritage 91 in 2020 with the release of the inaugural 2018 Pinot noir. He has since released a 2020 Rosé and will be introducing additional new varietals later this year. McCollum Heritage 91 is a culmination of CJ’s passion for wine and dedication to creating a brand that carries his legacy forward. Together with Elise, CJ acquired a 318-acre vineyard property in the Yamihill-Carlton AVA in 2021. While the McCollums will announce additional plans for the property and programming at a later date, the land acquisition solidifies their long-term vision, amplifying the overarching goal of creating an exceptional vineyard that produces world-class wines.
