De La Boue Wines

Travis Todd (winemaker) and Chris Andrew are the team behind a winery called "de la boue" out of Willamette Valley Oregon (~2,500 cases). They farm Vista Grande, a 5-acre organic vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains, and buy fruit from top organic/biodynamic vineyards like Temperance Hill, Gregory Ranch etc. Travis previously ran the wine program at The Yellowstone Club in Montana before moving to Oregon to become a winemaker."Nostalgie de la boue"(de luh BOO) is a french phrase with a loose translation that means a longing for simpler times. Directly translating to “of the dirt,” de la boue is a reminder that it all comes from the ground beneath our feet. Past vintages are sold out and their 2023 vintage will be released for Allocation Program Members in spring of 2025.

From the historic beauty of Bucks County and Central New Jersey, or to the rolling hills of Lehigh/Berks County, your day spent with Tastings and Tours will be one of a kind. The Narcissist Wine Company

Small Portfolio of my wines from ideas and products that have been swimming in my head over decades of winemaking. Focusing on "The Narcissist" red wine, a blend of Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (86%), Merlot (7%), Cabernet Franc (7%), and 3 additional 'bucket list' brands and varieties that I would like to serve to my friends and family for the rest of my career.and life. The intent of the brand "The Narcissist" specifically is explained on the back label with a recipe for 'acts of human kindness' under the heading,"The Antidote". It simply makes suggestions of doing things that promote stress relief in our day to day relationships as well as the sea of humanity that we engage with every day, week, and year. The brand is about finding ways to oppose selfishness and encourage more of a society of selflessness. Not that selfishness is a new phenomenon in our modern world but the fact that loneliness and self-focus has taken on a new meaning in our technologically based world of smart phones and social media. I'm a winemaker so I simply want to make great wines, and not just great wines for the sake of making a wine that scores well and is enjoyable (although extremely import), but great wines that do something more for people and contribute back. I've had my 'career'. Now it's time to do something that simply feels good to do. Tag lines of "Be a giver" and "The Cure for Selfish Wines" are focusing on emotional health and the organizations that are critical in assisting those who suffer with emotional health issues. If your heart is sensitive to those around us who could use a kind word, have a helping hand, or simply conversational support when they're feeling blue, then please follow along and I'll do my best to make you proud of the work that we're doing.
