Willamette Valley Wineries Association
The Willamette Valley Wineries Association (WVWA) is a non-profit association dedicated to achieving recognition for Oregon’s acclaimed Willamette Valley as a premier Pinot noir producing region. Currently the WVWA has more than 400 members representing wineries, vineyards, hospitality and industry businesses. throughout the Willamette Valley American Viticultural Area from Portland to Eugene. The WVWA began in 1986 as the Yamhill County Wineries Association with 11 member wineries. Its first officers were early wine country pioneers, Dick Erath, Bill Blosser, and David Lett. Eight of the original wineries are still members. In 2004, the Association expanded its borders to include the entire Willamette Valley and changed its name to accurately represent its membership. The Willamette Valley is the oldest AVA in the state, having achieved that designation in 1983. Wine Country Thanksgiving and Memorial Weekend in Wine Country, sponsored by the WVWA, are the two oldest and largest wine touring events in Oregon. Willamette: The Pinot Noir Auction is the region’s largest annual trade-only auction event, beginning in 2016. The WVWA also publishes a winery guide and touring map. The Association is recognized as the most comprehensive resource for the wine country traveler.

Gregory James Wines is a boutique winery founded in 2013 by James "Jim" Demuth and Gregory "Greg" Adams. Located in the renowned wine regions of Sonoma and Napa Counties, the winery specializes in producing exceptional wines from the finest vineyards in these areas. Jim, an Ohio native, was inspired to start a winery after experiencing the unique flavors of an old vine Zinfandel during a 2012 trip to Sonoma County. Greg, a fourth-generation Californian, has been managing vineyards in Sonoma County since 1977, bringing a wealth of experience to the partnership. Together, they share a passion for crafting wines that reflect the distinct characteristics of their vineyards. Gregory James Wines focuses on cool-climate grapes from Sonoma County and bold Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Napa Valley. The winery's range includes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and old vine Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley. The 2018 vintage marked the winery's first Cabernet Sauvignon harvest from Beckstoffer’s Georges vineyard in Napa Valley, one of the region's most prestigious sources for Cabernet. The winemaking team has evolved over the years, with Mikael "Mike" Gulyash guiding the first seven vintages and Chris Russi, a seasoned winemaker with 25 years of experience in Sonoma County, joining in 2020.
