I graduated from the Kelley School of Business in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Analytics. I pride myself on being a hard worker, a good teammate, and curious. These themes are what makes me who I am and drive my achievements.Being a hard worker: As an associate at Target for three years, my manager depended on me to get things done and keep our store flourishing. He often had me begin my shift early or stay late because he knew he could rely on me to deliver results. I worked throughout the COVID-19 pandemic until leaving for college; Target could depend on me. In addition, the store manager recognized my hard work ethic and requested me to work added shifts in advance of senior management store visits. Our store in Glenview, Illinois was one of the highest sales in the region and I feel my strong work ethic contributed to our success.Being a good teammate: I have played sports all my life. I understand what it means to work on a team and how you should act as a teammate. Whether I am playing an individual sport, such as tennis and golf, or a team sport, such as soccer, I know that being a good teammate means being a good listener, being understanding, and working together to achieve goals. I thrive in situations where I can collaborate on teams to exceed expectations.Being curious: I like learning about new things. Whether it is researching how to effectively paint a room (which was a summer project in high school) or figuring how to improve our internet connectivity during the COVID-19, I enjoy figuring out the unknown. Exploring different viewpoints and then determining my course of action energizes me.
