About Rob Ranley

I have over 16 years of experience in banking operations, risk & compliance, beginning my career in Enterprise Risk Management at State Street Bank and transitioning into consulting with KPMG where I have been for the past 9 years. I have both my MBA and MS Finance from Boston College, where I graduated with Distinction (in the top 10% of the program). I have first-hand knowledge of both consumer and institutional banking operations, from card, mortgage and deposit products through 40-Act funds, ETFs, structured funds, and derivative products. I have worked with bank leadership to help them identify risks and issues in their organization, and develop process and control enhancements to streamline their operational models, reduce manual processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. I have led large, global teams and managed complex multi-million dollar projects. I continue to learn new subject matter and want to build a career that continues to surprise and challenge me. Outside of work, I spend time with my large family and enjoy carpentry, landscaping, gardening, cooking, running, weightlifting, and giving back to veteran/servicemember-oriented organizations.
